1) custom indentation, I.e. the possibility to have 2 spaces instead of tab. My existing python code uses 2 spaces, and therefore \t messes things a bit up.

This is great app, great job. I have set up my laptop to sync to my code with cloud so I have access to it on meetings. There is one small problem, that makes me hesitate to buy pro version. I would really need a way to set it up for read only mode and even better to start in read only mode when file opens. I just use it for reference, when someone asks me how things work. So it is a lot annoying to have the soft keyboard every time I open file.

I am having a similar issue connecting to an ubuntu box I have hosted on amazon ec2. Using same key (.pem) I use to connect with other ssh/scp clients with public/private key auth, I am getting an invalid key error from droidedit. My path to key file is correct I believe (no errors shown by droid edit when I type it in at least).

I'm too am having trouble using PythonAnywhere on an Android tablet. I have lots of trouble with the keyboard echoing. Backspace doesn't work. And some keyboards insist on capitalizing every letter typed. Most recently I tried with Chrome Beta and Next Browser on a Nexus 7 (2013) (Android 4.4.2). I have tried various other Android tablets with the same result.

OK, thanks for letting us know. We'll see what we can do. It might be tricky, though. We already include tags in our HTML to switch off the auto-complete functionality for the consoles and the editor, but unfortunately Android seems to ignore them. Possibly there's something else we haven't tried, though.

Hi, any progress on this topic? Scrolling feature is still not working. It would help just to have two buttons somewhere on editor page for scrolling up and down source code manually, like cursor up/down keys

A trivial programming task but the only computer I had was my phone.I searched for programming languages available on Android. Python for Android looked way too complex. Then I was struck by the obvious choice for a powerful and fully-supported language with graphics capabilities: JavaScript.
