Dr. Nitesh Dutt received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Roorkee in 2018, where his research, supported by a Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences (BRNS) project, delved into "Heat-up and Cooling Studies of Debris of IPHWR." Remarkably, he gained experience in establishing a dedicated nuclear lab under the guidance of his supervisor and BARC scientists within the Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Department at IIT Roorkee. With an M.Tech in Renewable Energy from the same institution, Dr. Nitesh's expertise spans diverse domains. As a GATE-qualified professional, he has presented his work internationally and contributed research articles to SCI journals, peer-reviewed platforms, book chapters, and conferences. He has authored three edited books published by Taylor and Francis Group (CRC Press), holds four patents, and serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the "International Journal of Energy Resources Applications (IJERA)."Dr. Nitesh specializes in nuclear reactor safety, Heat and Mass Transfer, Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Solar Energy Applications, and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). He is currently an  Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at COER University, Uttarakhand, India, with a previous stint at Graphic Era University, Dehradun, India, from July 2011 to July 2012.With over 10 years of rich academic and research experience, he was honored with "Research Awards" in 2022 and 2023 by the College of Engineering Roorkee (COER) and COER University, Roorkee, India. Dr. Nitesh also led a TEQIP-III sponsored project and is actively involved in research under the COER-IIT Roorkee MOU partnership. He has participated in numerous workshops and conferences and has convened Short Term Courses (STC), further showcasing his commitment to advancing knowledge and academic excellence.
