About Me

I have been the librarian at DRMS for the past ten years. Before that, I taught first grade for five years and third grade for one year. I have my Master's in Reading Pre-K through 12th grade. I also have my National Board Certification in Reading/Language Arts.

A few things about me:

*I love my family. I have a very tall husband and three little ones. They are nine, eight, and six years old.

*I LOVE to read, obviously, or I would make a terrible librarian.

*I love traditions: Christmas, Balloon Fiesta camping, going to the lake, making sugar cookies, family themed Halloween costumes. I also like to have events in our library throughout the year.

*I am a HUGE Harry Potter fan, Disney, and Star Wars fan.

*I am also a Hufflepuff.
