Currently working in CSIR-Central Electrochemical Research Institute, Karaikudi as a Senior Technical Officer. At present,  In-charge for High Resolution –Transmission Electron Microscope lab which is installed in Central Instrumentation Facility and Joined for PhD in 2022 January.

Dr. S. ARUNMETHA (SERB-TARE Fellow)

Recipient of the SERB Teacher’s Associateship for Research Excellence (TARE) for the year 2021-2024. Currently working on the Development of Heterostructure Materials for an Efficient Photocatalytic and Photo electrochemical Water Splitting toward Green Energy Harvesting, Under the Mentorship of Dr. M. Sathish, CECRI-Karaikudi.

Received SERB-National Post-Doctoral Fellow (N-PDF) during the year 2016 to 2018. Research works in cost-effective Dye-sensitized Solar Post-Doctoral under the mentorship of Dr. R. Jayavel, Anna University, Chennai. Received CSIR-SRF fellowship in the year 2014-2016 for his Ph.D., Research work on Nanostructured Materials for Photovoltaic Device Applications under the guidance of Dr. V. Rajendran at CNST, KSRCT.

Obtained his MSc Chemistry from Madurai Kamaraj University. Worked on "Supercritical Fluids Assisted Synthesis of 2D Inorganic Layered Materials and Their Applications". Completed his PhD by Feb 2018, Currently working as Postdoctoral Researcher at  South Korea.

Dr. K. Subramani (DST-JRF)

Received MSc Nanoscience and Technology from Alagappa University. Worked on "Reduced Graphene Oxide-based Nanocomposites and Bio-derived Carbon for Supercapacitor Applications". Completed his PhD by Dec 2018. Served as Research Associate at  Central Electrochemical Research Institute, Karaukikudi. India. Currently working at Reliance Industries Limited, Mumbai.

Dr. S. Suresh balaji (CSIR-SRF)

Received MSc Chemistry from PSG College of Arts and Science, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. Worked on Bio-mass derived activated carbon materials for high enrgy supercapacitor applications. Internship with Prof. Patrice Simon at Université Paul Sabatier, France, under "The Raman-Charpak Fellowship Program-2019". Defended his PhD by August 2021. Currently serving as Research Associate at IIT, Hyderabad.

Dr. Parnapalle Ravi (SRF)

Received M.Sc., Chemistry from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati,  Andhra pradesh. Qualified for CSIR-UGC NET exam in 2015. Defended his PhD by Feb on the topic design and development of nanocomposite materials for photocatalytic hydrogen production. Currently serving as a Post-Doctoral fellow in Gachon University, South Korea.

M. Sandhiya (DST-SRF)

Received M.Sc., Chemistry from Muthayammal College of Arts and Science, Rasipuram. Received DST-INSPIRE Fellowship in 2018.  Worked on the Fabrication of Bio-derived Carbon and Carbon Nano Composites by facile and scalable methods and defended her PhD Viva voce on december 2022.  Currently serving as Kreitman Postdoctoral fellow in Ben-Gurion University of Negev, Israel.

Nasrin Kabeer (DST-SRF)

Received M.Phil., Inorganic Chemistry from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala and obtained MSc., Chemistry from Cochin university of science and technology, Kerala. Received DST-INSPIRE Fellowship in 2019. 

Worked on MXene based Hybrids for High Performance Supercapacitor Application.

Dr. R. Rameshbabu (N-PDF)

Received Ph.D from SRM University (2015) and subsequently continued as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in (SRM Research Institute) SRM University for another couple of years (2015-2017). 

At CSIR-CECRI, he has worked on “Development of Noble Metal-free Catalyst for Efficient Hydrogen Evolution from Water under Visible-light and their Practical Implementation”. Currently working as Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Concepcion, Chile. 

Dr. J. Anandharaj (N-PDF)

Received Ph.D in Chemistry from Department of Industrial Chemistry, Alagappa University, Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu.

At CSIR-CECRI, he has worked on Novel Graphene Reinforced Conducting Polymer-Metal Oxide Nanocomposites for Supercapacitor Applications. Currently, working as Post Doctorate Fellow at Alagappa University, Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu.

Project: “Synthesis and Separation of 89Sr isotope for the treatment of bone cancer” at Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR), Kalpakkam. Obtained Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Gujarat Technological University (GTU).B.E. Project: “Design and Manufacturing of steel shot separator”. Having working experience as Project engineer in Geo Source, Gujarat. At CSIR-CECRI, he has worked on DRDO-NSTL sponsored project.
