Mohammad Belayet Hossain received the B.Sc. Eng. degree in electrical and electronic engineering from the Khulna University of Engineering and Technology, Khulna, Bangladesh, in 2010, and the M.Sc. degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in 2014. He completed his PhD at the School of Information Technology, Deakin University, VIC, Australia, in 2021. After completing his PhD, he worked as a research assistant and associate research fellow at the School of Information Technology, Deakin University, VIC, Australia. His current research interests include AI/ML, efficient energy management, electric vehicle privacy, smart meter privacy, energy storage applications in smart grid and vehicle-to-grid networks, and image processing.
