I am a postdoctoral researcher specializing in theoretical and computational astrochemistry, with a focus on molecular processes in interstellar and circumstellar environments, such as how molecules are excited, how radiation transfer happens, and how chemical reactions evolve. My goal is to bridge theoretical modeling with astronomical observations to better understand the molecular universe.
I completed my B.Sc. (2013), M.Sc. (2015) and Ph.D. (2022) in Physics at the University of Calcutta, India. I have gained international research experience through postdoctoral work and collaborations, including research positions in France and India, and participation in conferences and workshops across the United States, Europe, and Asia.
My broader research interests include astrochemical modeling of star- and planet-forming regions, gas–grain chemistry, and the formation of complex organic molecules and their eventual role in supporting life, with implications for astrobiology. I continuously seek to expand my expertise by developing new computational techniques and engaging in interdisciplinary collaborations.
