I am Milan Sil, a postdoctoral researcher in astrochemistry and astrophysics with a background in physics, currently based at the Institute of Astronomy, National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan. My research specializes in theoretical and computational astrochemistry, exploring molecular processes in the interstellar medium and circumstellar environments. My work includes molecular excitation, radiative transfer, chemical evolution, and ab initio quantum chemical calculations to understand the chemical evolution of astrophysical environments.

I completed my Ph.D. from the University of Calcutta, India, on the topic “Physics and chemistry of star forming region and protoplanetary disk” (2022). 

My research aims to bridge theoretical modeling with astronomical observations to advance our understanding of the molecular universe.
