Dr Lukas Mar completed his medical training at The University of Queensland in 2009.

Following medical graduation, Dr Mar worked as a hospital doctor in Brisbane.

Mater Health Services
Hospital experience provided a broad foundation in the assessment and management of acute and chronic medical conditions before Dr Mar transitioned into general practice training and subsequently community-based general practice.
Dr Mar obtained Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2014.
Since then, his professional work has included general practice in metropolitan, regional and rural settings.
He has also undertaken locum general practice work in rural Victoria.
Maintaining contemporary medical knowledge is an important part of professional practice. Dr Mar continues to undertake professional education and development relevant to general practice.
