Dr Liu is an Assistant Professor of Accounting and Finance. He completed his PhD at The University of Queensland, Australia. His research interests span corporate finance, climate finance, credit ratings and risk, voluntary disclosure, debt markets, and IPOs. His research has been presented at leading academic conferences and published in highly regarded journals.

Dr Liu has extensive teaching experience across undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including Corporate Finance, Derivatives, Asset Pricing, and Banking and Lending. He also brings substantial industry experience, having worked as an analyst across several banks, financial institutions, and consulting firms. In addition, he has contributed his expertise to budget and policy matters in the government sector.
