Dr. Leah D. Brundidge Scholarship Foundation

The Dr. Leah D. Brundidge Scholarship was created to continue Leah’s lifelong mission of empowering others to “live their best life.”

This award supports seniors who show promise, passion, and purpose—students who are determined to rise above challenges, lead by example, and give back to their communities. Through this scholarship, we celebrate Leah’s legacy and invest in the next generation of leaders.

Four scholarships, each in the amount of $2,000, will be awarded to graduating seniors from the following high schools:

Houston Academy – One senior will receive a $2,000 scholarship.
Jackson High School – One senior will receive a $2,000 scholarship.
T. R. Miller High School – One senior will receive a $2,000 scholarship.
Escambia County High Schools (Flomaton High School, Escambia County High School, and W. S. Neal High School) – One senior from any Escambia County high school will receive a $2,000 scholarship.

Each of these schools represents a unique and significant part of Dr. Brundidge’s life. She attended, worked in, or was connected to these school communities throughout her educational and professional journey. These places shaped her character, fueled her passion for learning, and helped build the foundation for the leader, educator, and role model she became.

By opening this scholarship to seniors from these four schools, we honor the roots of her story and invest in the future of the communities that meant so much to her.
