Hello and Welcome to my Homepage. I am currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Government Degree College Uttarakhand.

Previously, I worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Physics at Northeastern University, Boston, USA, with Prof. Dapeng "Max" Bi. My postdoctoral research focused on the mechanics and collective behavior of biological tissues using theoretical modeling and computer simulations. I am particularly interested in understanding the mechanical forces governing tissue morphogenesis using mechanical inference techniques. In parallel, we study the shear response in active vertex models and perform coarse-grained simulations of deformable, cell-mimicking particles to uncover principles underlying tissue mechanics and biomimetic materials.  

I obtained my Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay under the supervision of Prof. Rajarshi Chakrabarti. My doctoral research focused on coarse-grained modeling and Langevin/Brownian dynamics simulations to study the dynamics of passive and active probe particles in complex environments.
