Research and Expertise
My research has contributed to the supramolecular and nanomaterials of chemistry related sensing applications and presented mechanism design solutions for the detection of environmental toxic metal ions. In particular, I have focused on the hazardous material available in environmental. State priority depends on science and research to increase research in the field of major issues like detection/sense selective and sensitive toxic ions, synthesis of novel supramolecules and nano receptors for detection of trace metal ions at nano level from the different area of state. I think the proposed research project should cover all address of above-mentioned issues.
Synthesis of novel calix system with more functional groups, Derive nanoparticles from supramolecules. Proposed calix systems have good potential for anion and cation binding and sensing.
✓ Synthesis of fluoroionophore for different fluorophores.
✓ Develop and promote the internal and external profile of the department.
✓ Raise the research profile of the department within the faculty and externally.
✓ Enhance the quality and volume of research by encouraging and enabling demonstrable research achievement within the department.
✓ Encourage the students and Faculty members for higher study or engage in research activities. In chemistry department 8 faculties are doctorate and 05 faculty members are perusing PhD/M.Phil.

✓ All students (30+) M.Sc. Chemistry (Batch-2014-21) performed dissertation work off- campus in industries and research institutes (Zydus, GPCB, IAR, Asynsis lab, Dishman, Gujarat Lab, High-tech lab, Sakar Healthcare, CSMCRI-Bhavnagar, IFFCO, Intas Pharma, Sonofi Laboratory, Welable Pharma, Sunrise Remedies, Lupin etc.
✓ Manage all staff within the department, including performance management, staff development, appraisal, induction and succession planning.
✓ Collaborative working creates a cohesive team approach within the department and faculty and across faculties.
✓ Act as Ph.D and M.Phil coordinator (Research Coordinator) of Faculty of Sciences.
Novel Synthesis, Characterization of Supramolecule derivatives, Fluorescence sensors and Nanoparticles after that studied their Ion-binding properties with biological and environmentally important metal ion, Amino acids, DNA etc.

✓ Applications in the field of Metal complexes, Sensor, MoF and Nanomaterials.
✓ Synthesis of fluorescent sensor, Nanodyes and Nano-sensor.
