Dr. June Gower

June Gower, a retired military major who now works with the Nurse Corps, is a veteran of the nursing profession. June enlisted in the US Army as a field medic right out of high school, and she has been serving ever since. When she served in the military, she received multiple medals for her outstanding performance (Meritorious metal). In the middle of Desert Storm/Desert Shield, she was deployed to serve with her Combat Hospital, leaving behind a tiny kid with family.

When June was a child, she was born into a farm family and worked her way up the ladder. June is a garden and animal enthusiast who who enjoys all things scientific. She is driven by the belief that she was put on this earth to help those in need. Aiming for the top. When June graduated from Arizona State University with a BS in Nursing, she returned to California State University for an advanced degree in nursing. She has completed a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Walden University after attending various military officer academies for advanced leadership training.
