As the founder of Arthritis & Rheumatology Center, P.C., in Georgia, he began the practice 13 years ago with a vision of providing patients with comprehensive and attentive care. His center has grown to include seven locations: Canton, Cumming, Kennesaw, Lawrenceville, Roswell/Alpharetta, Suwanee/Johns Creek, and Woodstock. He provides care at the Roswell/Alpharetta and Cumming offices.
Dr. Patel has developed expertise in Osteoarthritis, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, Scleroderma, Vasculitis, Musculoskeletal Ultrasound, and Platelet-Rich Plasma therapies. Jatin Patel, MD, completed his medical education at C.U. Shah Medical College in western India. He finished an internal medicine residency at Jersey Shore University Hospital in New Jersey. He then completed a Rheumatology fellowship at Drexel University/Hahnemann Hospital, where he gained clinical and research experience in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound. His research was published and presented at professional meetings. He also holds a Certification in Registered Musculoskeletal Sonography.
His dedication to medical education and research enhances the quality of care he delivers to his patients.
Patel donated $150,000 to the Boston Children's Hospital lab in 2015 and 2016 in support of clinical research and trials. In 2025, he contributed $5,000 to the National Psoriasis Foundation, an organization dedicated to helping people with psoriatic disease.
