Effective Date: September 19, 2026
Drive Image URL Converter ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your information.
This Privacy Policy explains how the Drive Image URL Converter mobile application ("App") handles information when you use the App to convert supported Google Drive image sharing links into image URLs, preview images, copy or share generated URLs, and maintain a local conversion history.
The App is designed with data minimization in mind. The core URL conversion process is performed locally on your device, and we do not operate a backend server for storing your conversion data.
We do not directly collect or maintain a database of your:
Name
Email address
Phone number
Contacts
Photos or images uploaded to our servers
Google account credentials
Google Drive account information
Precise location
Personal profile information
The App does not require you to create an account or sign in.
The App may store conversion history locally on your device using a local database.
Depending on the App version and features you use, this local history may contain:
Generated image URL
Google Drive file ID extracted from the provided link
Date and time of the conversion
This information is stored locally on your device and is not uploaded to a server operated by us.
You can delete individual history items or clear your entire conversion history from within the App.
The App accesses clipboard content only when you explicitly use the Paste function.
The clipboard content is used to populate the URL input field.
We do not intentionally maintain a separate clipboard history, continuously monitor your clipboard, or upload clipboard content to our servers.
The App may use third-party software development kits (SDKs) and services. These third parties may process certain information according to their own privacy policies and terms.
The App uses Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) to display advertisements.
Because advertisements are provided by a third-party advertising service, Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and process certain information for purposes such as advertising, analytics, fraud prevention, and ad delivery.
Depending on the SDK configuration, device, region, and applicable privacy settings, this may include information such as:
IP address
Advertising ID or other device/account identifiers
App interactions, such as ad impressions or interactions
Diagnostic and performance information
Information used to estimate general or coarse location
The collection and processing of such information is performed by Google and its advertising partners according to their applicable policies and settings.
Google Mobile Ads SDK data is transmitted using encryption in transit where applicable. Google provides information for developers to use when completing the Google Play Data Safety section.
For more information, please review Google's official privacy documentation.
The App uses the Glide image-loading library to load and display image previews.
Glide is used as a client-side image loading and caching library. When the App requests an image preview, the request is made from the device to the server associated with the generated image URL.
Glide itself does not provide our App with a user account or personal profile.
Information handled by the App is used only for purposes necessary to provide its features, including:
Converting supported image-sharing links into image URLs
Displaying image previews
Maintaining local conversion history
Copying generated URLs to the clipboard when requested
Sharing generated URLs through Android's system sharing functionality
Displaying advertisements
Detecting network availability
Improving reliability and preventing misuse where applicable
We do not sell your locally stored conversion history to third parties.
The App may use the following permissions:
Used to:
Load image previews
Load advertisements
Access network-based services required by supported features
Used to determine whether a network connection is available so that the App can provide appropriate offline or connectivity messages.
When applicable, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may use Android's Advertising ID for advertising-related purposes. Current versions of the Google Mobile Ads SDK can automatically declare the Advertising ID permission through the SDK manifest.
The Advertising ID is controlled by Android and may be reset or deleted by the user through Android privacy settings.
Conversion history created by the App is stored locally on your device.
You can:
Delete individual conversion history items from the History screen.
Clear all conversion history from the App's Settings.
Remove all locally stored App data by uninstalling the App.
We do not maintain a server-side copy of your local conversion history.
Information processed by third-party services, such as advertising-related information, is subject to the respective third party's policies and retention practices.
We take reasonable measures to minimize the information handled by the App.
The core conversion process is performed locally on the device. The App does not require Google account credentials and does not use Google Drive API or Firebase to store conversion history.
Network communications used by third-party services or image-preview requests are handled through the applicable services and technologies used by the App.
However, no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
The App is not specifically directed toward children.
We do not knowingly request or collect personal information from children through our own services.
Where applicable, advertising and privacy protections for children are handled according to the requirements of Google Play, Google Mobile Ads, and applicable laws.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us directly, please contact us so that we can review the matter.
Third-party services used by the App may have their own privacy policies and data practices.
We recommend reviewing the applicable privacy information provided by Google and other third-party service providers used by the App.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App, third-party services, legal requirements, or our privacy practices.
When changes are made, the updated Effective Date will be shown at the top of this Privacy Policy.
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
