I welcome to my site "Ramani Arts", an onlineview of my paintings. Here is a quick video of my paintings displayed at Rainbow Art Gallery, in Hyderabad India. Please feel free to contact us here. My paintings are made with oil colors (not student colors)....on canvas... I tried all the kinds of forms in painting...to start with pencil sketches, Staedtler color pencils, water colors, Acrylic..crayons...on hand made papers, on ivory sheets, oil papers and on canvas boards...After constant practice and observation I came to an understanding...how to bring life with colors on canvas ....To reach a state of confidence it took fifteen long years not an overnight success by the help of Godfathers....or any source ready made...
The most difficult part in painting Nature is to get desired effect with colors....the picture must speak thousand words...unsaid; the light and shade including time also must be revealed. The mixed color on the palette may not be the same on paper/canvas, here lies the beauty of Nature..that is Drishya Ramayanam.....
With these pictures I tried to bring the beauty...each painting takes 10 to 15 manual hours to finish...first coat will not give the shine and glow...that is to be dried and must be painted again like this...for 18"×20"size board....
As the art of painting demands more hours for bigger canvas boards of 30"×40" size may need 30 to 40 hours not at a stretch...but time to time till wet have to bring the beauty to the picture...then only it becomes perfect....
The winter sky differs to summer sky...like wise moon light...the flow of water according to the time it gives the mood and atmosphere to the picture of course special brushes are also play an important role...
The greenery in my paintings gives the cooling effect to the eyes, the vividness and minute detailing brings pleasantness undoubtedly.
My main motive of this site is to bring my paintings to all who desired to beautify their houses...one more thing I would like to mention is these paintings add beauty in dim bed light rather than bright day light...
The prices I put for each painting is very nominal and half of the money I wish to donate to CANCER RESEARCH INSTITUTE....
