Immaculate Award - An award granted to the team that has the most robust and visually aesthetic robot.
Navigator Award - Given to the team that demonstrates superior control of the robot including its autonomous functions.
Analysis Award - Celebrates a team who creates or uses a unique or effective strategy when scouting other teams.
Inspiration Award - Celebrates a team who demonstrates outstanding success in advancing respect and appreciation for engineering within a team’s school or organization and community.
Sportsmanship Award - An award granted to the team that demonstrates stellar sportsmanship and gracious professionalism.
In addition to pit judging, we will have interview judging for the DRIP Student of the Year Award, based on the FIRST Leadership Award. Each team will be able to sign up 1 students for a short interview at pit admin during load-in, with open slots available for sign up on Saturday morning. No materials will need to be submitted in advance of the interview.
DRIP Mentor of the Year forms will be at pit admin during load-in and are due to pit admin at lunch on Saturday. 1 Submission per team!
Protector of the Field Award is the team that does the least amount of damage to the field. This award will be managed by our Field Staff.
DRIP will be collecting supplies for the Center for Child Protection. Donations will be collected at Pit Admin throughout the event and teams will be recognized for their donation.
Items being requested are:
- uno cards
- sketch pads and journals
- paint brushes
- loofahs
- kid toothpaste
- fidget items (e.g., Needohs, Speks, or other squishies)
