WHAT DRINKMETER STORES
DrinkMeter keeps everything you enter on your own device only: your sex, your body weight, your settings, and the drinks you have logged for the current evening. There is no account, no sign-in and no server. None of this data is uploaded to us, shared with anyone, or visible to us at any time.
DrinkMeter keeps no history. The current evening is discarded automatically once its most recent drink is more than 24 hours old.
HOW TO DELETE YOUR DATA
Open Settings inside the app and tap "Delete all data". That erases your profile, your settings and the current evening from the device permanently. Uninstalling the app removes the same data. Because nothing is ever sent to us, we hold no copy and cannot recover it.
ADVERTISING
DrinkMeter displays banner advertising supplied by Google AdMob.
To serve those ads, Google may collect and process device identifiers - such as the Android advertising ID - together with information about your device and about the ads that were shown. This data is collected and used by Google for advertising and measurement purposes, and is shared with Google as the ad provider. It is not collected by us and we do not receive it.
Where the law requires consent for this - including in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland - you are asked for that consent through Google's consent form before any ad is loaded. You can change your choice at any time by opening Settings in the app and tapping "Ad privacy options".
Google's own handling of this data is described in Google's privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy and in Google's advertising information at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads
PERMISSIONS
DrinkMeter requests internet and network-state access. Both are used solely to load advertising. The app requests no location, no contacts, no storage, no camera and no microphone access.
CHILDREN
DrinkMeter is intended for adults and is not directed at children. It is distributed with an age rating of 18 and over.
NOT MEDICAL OR LEGAL ADVICE
DrinkMeter provides an estimate calculated with the Widmark formula from the information you enter. It is not a measurement, not a breathalyser, not medical advice and not legal advice. The figure shown can differ substantially from your actual blood alcohol concentration. Never use this app, or any app, to decide whether you are fit to drive, to operate machinery, to work or to take medication. If you have been drinking, do not drive.
The driving limits shown in the app are provided for reference only. Laws change and vary by jurisdiction and by driver category. Always verify the current law where you are.
