近幾年科技部推動新創不遺餘力，讓台灣新創團隊有很多機會站上全球舞台，展現深厚的技術研發能量，並有更多機會爭取國際合作與結盟。暨 2018 年科技部帶領 32 支團隊在美國拉斯維加斯消費性電子展（Consumer Electronics Show，CES） 發光發熱，2019 年科技部二度組軍，以「Taiwan Tech Arena」為品牌形象成立臺灣國家館，帶領 44 支團隊前進 CES，預估將能爭取超過新臺幣 40 億的商機。
科技部長陳良基在授旗儀式中，有感而發地指出今年年初科技部第一次帶團參展CES，一開始的想法是要務實，也就是認清台灣的資源限制，以科技創新面向全世界、服務全球，但同時也必須在展會中激發團隊的企圖心，讓團隊及早熟悉國際生態，放眼全球市場。科技部身為產業推動者的角色，在展前特別邀請新創導師輔導團隊，幫助台灣年輕團隊在站上全球最大的消費性電子展前，做好萬全準備；展會中更舉辦 pitch、Taiwan night 等活動，贏取更多曝光機會。
CES 是全球最重要的科技展會之一，新創專區 Eureka Park 從 2012 年成立，幾年下來已成為 CES 一大亮點。陳良基強調新創團隊出去，不僅要獲得國際上的肯定，更要有企圖心，勇敢的把好的想法帶到全世界，把世界的資金帶回來。2018 年參展團隊不負所望，成果豐碩，募資達 30 億美元，遠遠超過當初預估的數字。而參展團隊回國後，許多人也肯定 CES 對他們眼界上的幫助，能在會場上認識很多原本只在廣告上看到的大品牌商，對他們未來的產品設計與發展帶來很大助益 。
CES 2019 Taiwan Tech Arrena 科技新創館的 44 家科技新創廠商，是從全台號召各科技相關的成熟新創進行篩選，以通過美國 CTA 大會及矽谷 SVTA 雙重篩選後的團隊，集中於 IoT、Cyber Security & Software、AI、智慧醫療、穿戴裝置及先進製造等 6 大領域。
值得一提的是，這次參展的隊伍中，有 8 家已獲得 CES 2019 Innovation Award 全球科技創新大獎的肯定，包含創淨科技股份有限公司（EleClean）以「e立淨消毒噴霧製造機」的電化學方式，將自來水轉化為消毒水技術，獲得家用電類創新獎（Home Appliance）；傑尼斯控股有限公司臺灣分公司開發的「ezOxygen 智能肺活量穿戴裝置」，獲得健身、運動暨生技類創新獎（Fitness, Sports and Biotech）；OmniEyes行動影像平台以即時分析並提供各式動態街景資訊的行動通訊、多媒體影像技術及人工智慧前瞻技術研發，獲得智慧城市類創新獎（Smart Cities）；漢穎科技（Han-Win Technology）以電池管理系統的專利技術 INNO-SAFETY，獲得智慧能源類創新獎（Smart Energy）；禾生科技股份有限公司（Gintel Tech Inc.）、臺灣骨王生技股份有限公司（Taiwan Main Orthopedic Biotechnology）、樂邦安控（Lubn Inc.）與天奕科技（Starwing Technology）則分別以「雲端智慧水產養殖水質有毒濃度監測控制及改善系統」、「智慧安控鑰匙盒」、「智慧骨科手術眼鏡」與「SiPS 公分級室內定位系統」獲獎。
