As a teacher, my to passion is to nurture and educate students to become lifelong learners which is beyond transmitting knowledge– to teach them the skills of 'learn how to learn' and to teach them the appreciation and the love for knowledge.
Our graduates also should be well equip with the knowledge and technical skills required by the industry
As Socrates said, "I cannot teach anybody anything; I can only make them think". I believe that teaching is an exciting adventure in which both the teacher and the students participate and cooperate to achieve a common goal.
ME and IEEE SOCIETY
I became IEEE Member since 2007. In that year, I serve as Secretary for 2007 IEEE Asia-Pacific Conference on Applied Electromagnetics. It was a successful event held in Melaka. I also serve as sponsorship committee and manage to get participation from local and international company such as Agilent Technology and Rohde and Schwarz. In 2008, I was elected as Honorary Secretary for IEEE AP/MTT/EMC Malaysia Joint Chapter. In that year, I was also contributed as committee member to organized 2008 IEEE International RF and Microwave Conference. Under this chapter, we also organised 2009 IEEE International Conference on Antennas, Propagation and Systems (INAS). I have published 23 papers in IEEE Conference Proceeding. In 2020, I have published 1 journal article in QI WOS, IEEE Access, one of the IEEE Flagship Journal. The article title Compact Size and High Gain of CPW-Fed UWB Strawberry Artistic Shaped Printed Monopole Antennas Using FSS Single Layer Reflector was received Best Paper Award 2020 from IEEE AP/MTT/EMC Malaysia Joint Chapter. Until now, I have published 76 journals article and conference proceedings in Scopus and WoS Indexed publications. 17th July 2021, I have been elevated to Senior Membership in IEEE Society
