Privacy Policy – Drill Progress Lite, Drill Progress Pro, and Drill Parameters Pro
Bytownite Geoscience (“BytowniteGeo”) develops the Drill Progress Lite, Drill Progress Pro, and Drill Parameters Pro mobile applications.
These apps are designed as offline field tools to help users calculate drilling progress, cost and quality-assurance metrics, manage drilling parameter recommendations, record bit runs, store field notes, attach photos, manage reference files, and export project records.
The apps do not require user registration or login and do not connect to any external servers or cloud services operated by BytowniteGeo.
Data entered into the apps stays on the user’s own device. This may include project names, hole information, bit records, drilling parameters, bit-run records, notes, photos, reference documents, exported files, and analytics generated from user-entered records.
BytowniteGeo does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share personal information entered into the apps.
If a user chooses to export results as CSV, text, JSON, or other files, those files are saved locally on the user’s device. If the user chooses to share exported files, photos, or documents using email, messaging apps, cloud storage, or other third-party services, that sharing is controlled by the user and is subject to the privacy practices of those third-party services.
The apps may request access to files or photos only when the user chooses to import, attach, open, or share files within the app. These files are used only for the selected app function and are not transmitted to BytowniteGeo.
The apps may be updated in the future. If our data practices change, we will update this privacy policy and, where required, request additional consent from users.
