"I had the opportunity to meet Nobel Laureate Frances Arnold at the 26th International Symposium on Synthesis in Organic Chemistry, held from 15 to 18 July 2019 at the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom."
I had the distinct privilege of meeting Nobel laureate Professor Jean-Marie Lehn—the pioneering founder of supramolecular chemistry and recipient of the 1987 Nobel Prize in Chemistry—when he visited my workplace, the University of Bordeaux, France.
with Prof. Mark Peczuh, Chair of the Department of Chemistry at the University of Connecticut, who delivered an inspiring talk on his pioneering research in carbohydrate chemistry.
It was a pleasure speaking with him personally — his innovative work and insights continue to advance the frontiers of synthetic and carbohydrate chemistry. 11/04/2025
