Functional Nanostructured Thin Films and Devices
About me
I am Dr. Harish Sharma Akkera, currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at BMS Institute of Technology and Management, Bangalore, India. I have earned my Ph.D. in materials science/Physics from the prestigious institution Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) India. Also, I had two years of Postdoctoral Research (NPDF) experience from IISc Bangalore, India. As an esteemed experimental physicist, I have authored numerous research papers published in leading international journals. My current research work has been focused on the area of multifunctional nanostructured thin films and devices. Also, I have had 6 years of teaching experience. Recently, I have been focusing on transparent conducting oxide thin films, and wide-bandgap oxides, which are potential applications in various optoelectronic devices.
