It is with great sadness that the family shares the news of the death of John Dias (Class of 63), who passed away on 5th March 2026 at the age of 79.

He was born in Kisumu, Kenya, the second of five children.

Dearly beloved husband of Betty and father of Lisa.  Son of the late Germano and Pobrina Dias.  Brother/in-law to Mina/Abio, Ida/Bona, late Frankie (Simon) and Trevor/Mia.

He was an active parishioner and was involved in voluntary work throughout his life, receiving a Papal Blessing and Benemerenti medal for his service to the Catholic church.  He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all.

Funeral details as follows:

Funeral Mass on Thursday 26th March at 11:30am

at St. Joseph's Church, 

 Plaistow Lane, 

Bromley, BR1 2PR

(Closest rail stations Sundridge Park and Bromley North)

Followed by service at at 1:00pm 

at Beckenham Crematorium, 

Elmers End road, 

Beckenham, BR3 4TD.
