Biography
T. Gomathi, Ph.D., is presently working as an Assistant Professor at Department of Chemistry, at D.K.M. College for Women (Autonomus), Affiliated to Thiruvalluvar University, Vellore, Tamilnadu, India. She received her M.Sc., M.Phil., and Ph.D. degrees in Chemistry from Thiruvalluvar University in 2006, 2008 and 2015. She awarded University Ninth rank in M.Sc. Chemistry from Thiruvalluvar University, Vellore (2006). She qualified SET in the year 2016. She had 15 years of teaching experience, 12 years of research experience. She held various positions in college committee as IQAC member, Web committee coordination, Co-Edifor of DKMC newsletter and so on. She is a life member of RAWS, Chitin/Chitosan Society, Association of Indian Biologists and Association of Global Academicians and Researchers. Under her guidance 16 MSc project and 9 M.Phil were completed and 1 PhD ongoing. Her major research interests in Computational Chemistry, Drug designing and drug delivery, Nanotechnology, Polymer Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry, Biopolymers for biomedical applications, Tissue engineering.
