Dr Gaurav Kumar Yadav is an AI researcher at the University of Essex's School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering. Before this role, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the Visual AI for Extended Reality Group at Bielefeld University. He has served as a postdoctoral fellow in the Intelligent Robotics and Computer Vision group at Rovira i Virgili University, Spain. He completed a PhD degree in the Department of Computer Science for Mathematics Security at Rovira i Virgili University, Tarragona, Spain. He received an M.Tech degree in Information Technology, specialising in Robotics, from the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad, India. He received a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the Institute of Engineering Technology, Dr Ram Manohar Lohiya University, Ayodhya, India. He has published many research papers in reputable international journals, including Applied Intelligence and Social, published by IOS Press, and at conferences such as CCIA and CICT. His current research topics include Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Maritime Navigational Safety, and Robotics. He has been a reviewer for various journals and conferences.
