Dr. G. Flora

Dr. G. Flora obtained Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.,) and Master’s Degree (M.Sc.,) in Botany from Scott Christian College, Nagercoil TN, India - affiliated to the Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli. She obtained M.Phil degree in Botany from St. Mary’s College (Autonomous), Thoothukudi, TN, India - affiliated to the Manonmaniam Sundaranar, Tirunelveli, TN, India and got Gold Model in M.Phil Degree. She is having 10 years of experience in Teaching and 4 years (2 years – M.Phil.,) of research experience. She has published 15 papers in International Journals – UGC, UGC-CARE LISTED, SPRINGER, SCOPUS & WEB OF SCIENCE…. & 2 papers in National Journal. She has presented 7 papers in National and International level Conferences, Seminars... during his academic career. She has completed her Ph.D degree with Highly Commended recommendation of the Thesis from all the examiners. She has attended many Faculty Development Programme (FDPs) and Training Programmes in her teaching career. She has guided 2 M.Phil Scholars. She submitted 3 16S r RNA gene in NCBI/GenBank. Presently Assistant Professor in St. Mary’s College (Autonomous), Thoothukdi, TN, India - 628002. Her publications are in: Bio-nano materials, Seaweed Utilization, Bacterial degradation of microplastics.
