Teaching Overview
Across a variety of formats (online, hybrid, & in-person), I have taught students at the undergraduate and masters levels in the areas of human resource management (HRM) and organizational behavior. My teaching philosophy centers on student engagement in which I endeavor to make my courses challenging, relevant, and application-oriented. In doing so, I focus on developing critical thinking, communication, and teaming skills by using interactive activities such as team debates and consulting for local organizations. Additionally, I connect students with the professional HRM community by bringing in senior HR executives from major organizations such as IBM and KPMG to share their insights on the HRM function and profession.
