This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 768287.

Economic Research Forum-UNDP – Economic Diversification and Digital Transformation in Algeria.

This project aims to address two key questions: why digital transformation and why is Algeria lagging behind. It starts by presenting a background on Algeria's politics, economy, and digitisation. Then, it assesses Algeria's digital infrastructure and ecosystem. The brief explores the potential opportunities of digital transformation in accelerating Algeria's economic growth in relation to governance, job creation, and skills development. Finally, it presents policy recommendations on how digital transformation can be moved forward in Algeria.

Renewable Energy in the Middle East and North Africa Region – Potential and Limits

The project supported by United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation, it seeks to provide an updated analysis of the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) countries strategies with regard to renewable energies and characterize the needs and potential cooperation between MENA countries, specifically with regard to interconnection, innovation and research and development (R&D) in the field. Refurbishment of collective housing with ENergy Optimization and Integ- Rated approach

This project funded by the French Agency for the Environment and Energy Management (ADEME). The project aims to provide an integrated approach to optimize the renovation of the existing building stock. The multi-objective optimization approach develops a building information model and cost-benefit approach based on a rich dataset.

French National Observatory of Fuel Poverty (ONPE-1)

First, this project outlines the measurement of fuel poverty using statistical indicators and examines the main characteristics of fuel poor households in France based on multidimensional statistical analysis using a new micro-level survey data. It then explores the salient determinants of fuel poverty risk using econometrics models

ANR MAPUCE

MApUCE aims to develop an interdisciplinary approach to integrate user’s energy behavior and urban climate into urban planning. The primary objective of this project is to obtain climate and energy quantitative data from numerical simulations, focusing on urban microclimate and building energy consumption in the residential and service sectors, which represents in France 41% of the final energy consumption.

ANR ENERGIHAB

It is a multidisciplinary research project exploring the question of domestic energy consumption. This project developed an innovative investigation approach to defining the modalities through which the relations between citizens and energy are constructed and organized in the French residential sector.

This project has received funding from the French National Research Agency under the ANR-08-VILL-0006 program.
