No, however, members must be able to swim at minimum 50 yards in one of the official legal strokes in under 1 minute and 30 seconds. Most of our members have had previous swimming experience, whether it is competitive or recreational.
We are a competitive swim team that practice at a high intensity and unfortunately do not have the space for swimmers who are just learning how to swim.
Dues are paid prior to Monday of Week 4. Team dues are $40 a quarter (fall & winter) and $15 during the spring. Dues must be paid online. If you have any issues or financial situations that might affect your ability to pay dues, do not hesitate to reach out to any member of E-Board.
The team is as competitive as you want it to be as we compete at the local, regional, and national level. Meets are not required if you wish not the compete, you are welcome to join us for practices!
Practices are not mandatory, but we encourage members to be as involved as possible!Â
Additionally, you are able to find open pool hours as well for more training. Check out the DAC website with hours, as they change per term.
Nationals is the only meet with qualifying standards.
You do not have to participate in each term within the school year. If you do not wish in participating for each term, reach out to an officer for further discussion of team dues for the year!
A reminder: We do have the Summer Quarter off.
