DressRight is an unofficial, personal-use Uniform Inspection helper. It is not endorsed by or affiliated with the United States Air Force.

This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles your information. We keep it simple: your data stays on your device unless you choose to share it.

Information We Collect

• Inspection Data: Names, ranks, office symbols, inspection notes, waiver details, and comments you manually enter.
  
  

• Cached Document: A single PDF file (AFI 36-2903) downloaded from the official Air Force website and stored locally for offline reference.
  
  

• Reminders: Scheduled notifications are generated locally on your device.
  
  

We do not collect, track, or transmit personal information to any server.

Data Storage & Retention

• All inspection data is stored locally on your device using app documents and SharedPreferences.
  
  

• Data remains until you delete it by:
  
  

  • Clearing the app’s storage in system settings, or
    
    

  • Uninstalling the app.
    
    

• Exported files (Excel/PDF) are created and stored only where you save or send them.
  
  

Data Sharing & Disclosure

• We do not share or sell your data.
  
  

• When you choose to export and send files (via email, file share, or AirDrop), the responsibility for where those files go rests with you.
  
  

• The app uses third-party packages (see below), but none of them transmit your inspection data to external servers.
  
  

Third-Party Dependencies

DressRight relies on the following open-source or vendor packages:

• UI & File Handling: syncfusion_flutter_pdfviewer, syncfusion_flutter_xlsio, excel, csv, file_picker, path_provider
  
  

• Sharing & Email: share_plus, flutter_email_sender
  
  

• Networking: http (used only to download AFI 36-2903), connectivity_plus
  
  

• Storage & Notifications: shared_preferences, flutter_local_notifications, timezone
  
  

These packages run locally and do not collect personal information on our behalf.

Security

• Your inspection data is never sent to external servers.
  
  

• The app relies on the security of your device and operating system.
  
  

• For additional protection, you may choose to secure your device with a passcode, biometric lock, or encryption.
  
  

Children’s Privacy

DressRight is intended for professional and personal use by adults.

• It is not directed at children under 13.
  
  

• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
  
  

If you believe a child has provided data in the app, delete it by uninstalling or clearing app storage.

User Rights

As the sole owner of your data:

• You control what is entered.
  
  

• You control whether to export or share files.
  
  

• You can delete all app data at any time.
  
  

There are no accounts, logins, or central databases tied to this app.
