Child's name and age — used only to personalise bedtime stories
Email address — collected when you create an account via Google Sign-In
Child interests — optional, used to personalise story themes
User ID — a unique identifier tied to your account
App activity — number of stories generated, emotions selected, favourites saved
Purchase history — subscription status and transaction records (via Google Play)
Device information — device type and operating system, for app compatibility
We use the information we collect to:
Generate personalised bedtime stories for your child
Manage your account and subscription
Sync your story history across devices
Improve app performance and fix bugs
Process payments via Google Play Billing
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider. Story content, child profiles, and account information are stored on encrypted servers. We retain your data for as long as your account is active.
We do not sell your personal data.
We share data only with:
Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure
OpenAI — story generation (child name and age are sent to generate stories; no data is retained by OpenAI for training)
Google Play — payment processing
Google Sign-In — authentication only
All third-party providers are bound by their own privacy policies and data protection agreements.
DreamNest is designed for use by parents, not directly by children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13. The child's name and age entered in the app are provided by the parent and used solely to personalise story content.
If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child without parental consent, please contact us immediately at the email below.
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS) and secure cloud storage. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Subscription payments are processed by Google Play. We do not store your payment card details. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play account settings.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
