Hi, we're Adam & Martina.  We're animal lovers who enjoy exploring new places and cultures.  We love slow travel and getting to know places so they feel like home.  We both work remotely and believe that there are just too many beautiful places to stay put in just one.  While we enjoy not having a permanent house, we miss the feeling of home and having pets.  That's how Dream Housesitters began!  

Martina, originally from Bulgaria, has dual European/American citizenship.  She's lived mostly in the US since going to college at UConn.  She was an Erasmus-Mundus scholar and recieved her Master in Transcultural European Outdoor Studies.  She recently completed a Project Management program at UC Berkeley.  She grew up with dogs, but made the transition to cat-owner in the US.  

Adam is a native Californian.  Growing up in the Napa Valley, he's worked at vineyards and helped make wine for several wineries, including one in New Zealand.  He's worked as a biologist for the National Park Service in Yellowstone & Yosemite National Parks.  Yosemite, in fact, is where we met.  We were neighbors for a summer and the rest is history.  Adam recently finished his Master's from UC Berkeley, in Environmental Planning.  His childhood pets were Dobie (Yellow Lab), Marley (Bernese Mountain Dog), and a very adventurous hamster named Scooter.

We are reliable, respectful, quiet, non-smokers/non-partiers, and have a car.  We would love to take care of your home and/or your pets as our own while you are away.  Please, get in touch with us to discuss your needs and expectations.
