First Dreams

Let's meet the dreamers

The first stage was dedicated to the introduction of the partner schools, project members and the division into international teams. Students created their virtual lockers and packed them with objects to describe themselves and present their class locker. Project partners were paired to guess who is who and guess which item belonged to which students based on reading each other's profiles.

Whose locker is it???

Koldo Mitxelena

This amazing lighthouse is located in Ajo, Cantabria. It was inaugurated in 1930, but then in 1985 a new lighthouse was built next to it and they demolished the original one, leaving the new one, which is the one that we have now. In 2020 it was painted with a fun and vibrant pattern by a local artist, can you search who? I encourage you to visit (online) this beautiful lighthouse and investigate its surrondings.

Art & History

Portugal is famous for various things, but the one that is our favourite is the Portuguese tiles, Azulejos. They can be seen in every Portuguese city, usually in historic buildings and houses but are also used as street signs, or even to decorate public benches.

The antique Azulejos were painted in a specific color palette with blue and white tones. (...)

We challenge you to draw a traditional azulejo in its original blue palette and share it with us. You can draw something that represents your country or something you like, set your imagination free!

The Pyramidenkogel

Join me on my trip to the Pyramidenkogel! It is 100 meters high and in the night it shines bright in all possible colours. A special highlight is the 120 meter long slide down around the popular observation tower of carinthia. But at first you have to climb a lot of stairs to get to the top. If you don't feel like going up you can also take the lift, but expect to pay for it. Can you tell me how many stairs you have to climb to get to the top?
