Dr. Deepak Singh led a community-level anti-alcohol awareness programme in rural Bihar, engaging local women, families, and community leaders to highlight the social, economic, and health impacts of alcohol abuse.

Dr. Deepak Singh conducted a field inspection of plantation sites under the Birsa Harit Gram Yojana (BHGY) in Palamu District. The visit focused on reviewing sapling plantation, pit preparation, survival rate, and community participation at the village level.

During the inspection, interactions were held with beneficiaries and local stakeholders to assess implementation quality, maintenance practices, and environmental impact. Dr. Deepak Singh facilitated a modular training programme on the Self-Help Group (SHG) concept for women SHG members in Udakisunganj block, Madhepura district, Bihar. The training focused on group formation, savings and credit discipline, internal lending, bookkeeping, and collective decision-making.

The programme aimed to strengthen financial literacy, women’s leadership, and livelihood preparedness, enabling SHG members to function as self-reliant, accountable, and sustainable community institutions.
