Doc Daphne hails from Alitagtag, Batangas and pursued higher education at the University of Santo Tomas, graduating with degrees in Nursing (Cum Laude) and Medicine (Magna Cum Laude). Following this, she completed a 4-year residency at Makati Medical Center in Manila. Driven by a passion for oncology, she specialized further with a 2-year fellowship at one of the world's leading cancer research and treatment institutes, Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto, Canada, focusing on cancer education, stereotactic body radiotherapy, thoracic and lung oligometastatic cancers, genitourinary cancer including prostate brachytherapy, and palliative oncology. Throughout her career, Doc Daphne has been dedicated to connecting people through global oncology and fostering leadership within the field, reflecting her commitment to advancing cancer care and making a meaningful impact on patients' lives locally and worldwide.
