Chaim (CJ) Rodríguez is an educator with extensive experience in mathematics and science education, K-12 and language-based standardized assessments, and the integration of technology in education. His professional trajectory in the field of education includes serving as a teacher in both the public and private sectors of Puerto Rico, an administrator of a charter school in Washington, DC, and a project manager for the development of standardized language proficiency tests for the Federal Government of the United States.
CJ holds several academic degrees in education, including a master’s degree in Secondary Science Education with a specialization in Biology, a master’s degree in mathematics education, both from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico. He also earned a Master of Divinity from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC, and a Doctorate in Theology from Barry University in Miami, Florida.
He is currently a doctoral student in the Curriculum and Instruction Program at the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus, with dual concentrations in Learning Technologies and Educational Research and Evaluation (INEVA). CJ’s research interests include the development of scientific pedagogy in faith-based educational contexts and the implementation of digital, adaptive standardized testing in K–12 education.
He currently serves as the Academic Director of the Technical Division of a University System on the Island and resides with his three four-legged children—Albizu, Freud, and Eva Luna—in the area of Condado in San Juan.
