Jung-Chen Lin
My name is Jung-Chen Lin, and I come from Kaohsiung. I’m an undergraduate student of the Entomology Department of NCHU. I joined the lab because I’m interested in the interaction between insects and plants, and chemical ecology. Besides insects, I also like percussion music. I like to play badminton and assemble Lego in my free time.
Ching-Cheng Wang
My name is Ching-Cheng Wang. I'm an undergraduate student majoring in Entomology. In my spare time, I like to read or go hiking. I'm interested in natural enemies and expect to move in that direction in the future. I'm participating in research about looking for potential parasitoid wasps in Taiwan for pest control.
Wei-Ting Chen
I have a background in entomology and biological control, with research interests in insect-plant interactions, climate change effects, and sustainable pest management. I have experience working with parasitoids and predatory insects in both academic and commercial settings across Taiwan, New Zealand, Canada, and the UK, combining applied research with practical greenhouse production experience.
Max
Hi everyone, I joined the lab when I was 2-moths-old and enjoy coming here during weekdays. Even though I've reached a weight of 20kg, I love hugs and sitting on my companion's lap, and like to chew things that two-legged humans don't want me to.
Most importantly, I'm the one who keeps everyone happy!
Waranya Ardburai
Hello! I’m Waranya Ardburai, a PhD student in the Department of Entomology at Khon Kaen University, Thailand. I joined the lab through the IIPP program. In my project, I’m focused on biologically controlling Spodoptera frugiperda using botanical insecticides derived from plant extracts in Taiwan. I’m also practicing rearing caterpillars in our lab. I’m truly excited to be part of this team. I'm so happy to be joining our lab.
