Construction:

There construction is pretty simple. The most basic machine polisher would have four main basic parts.

• Motor

• Spindle

• Backing plate

• Pad

Motor

The motors function is to give the mechanical energy to move the spindle. It is the most important part because this is what is functioning the whole thing. It can have variable speeds depending on the design and features of the polisher.

Spindle

The spindles purpose is to connect the backing plate with the motor. The spindle can be moving or fixed depending on the type of polisher.

Backing plate

The pad is attached to the polisher by the backing plate.

PAD

This is the part which touches the car surface in order to polish it. The material which is used to make the pad is anything soft so that it doesn’t scratch the car surface. It can be made of wool, foam etc.
