“How harmful overspecialization is. It cuts knowledge at a million points and leaves it bleeding.” -Isaac Asimov
Welcome! I'm a college educator and business owner with a passion for making psychological research practical and accessible to a variety of audiences.
While working as a counselor, I grew to appreciate the need for comprehensive mental health and wellness education. I have since co-founded Empowered Pathways LLC, a business that offers training on high-need topics in mental health and psychology.
Much of my curriculum reflects my core research interests: emerging adulthood, mental health, adolescent development, and college success. My work is driven by a passion for empowering young adults to advocate for their own psychosocial well-being and promote healthy identity development.
Additional research interests include: perspective-taking, adolescent mental health, post-traumatic growth, and career development.
