Prof. Biswarup Rana received his Ph.D. in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur, India (2017). He worked at the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur, as a guest faculty member in 2012. Prof. Rana was a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Electrical and Information Engineering, Seoul National University of Science and Technology, Seoul, South Korea. He is currently working as a research professor at Kongju National University, South Korea.
He holds four Korean patents (two issued, two pending) and one international patent and has authored or co-authored more than 88 journals, conferences, and books. He reviews various journals, including Nature, IEEE, and other reputed journals. He has received the top reviewer award from the IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation for 2025.
