This privacy policy applies to the Invita mobile application (Google Play package name: com.drbaksoo.rsvp, the "App"), published on Google Play by the developer drbaksoo.
1. Information We Collect
The App does not require an account and does not collect your name, email address, or phone number for sign-in purposes. We collect and process the following:
Content you create. Invitation cards you create or edit - title, date and time, place name and coordinates, description, participant information, attached photos, comments, and the display name you enter with a comment - are stored on the developer's server so that cards can be saved and shared.
Location. With your permission, the App reads your device's current location (latitude and longitude) when you use route guidance, distance display, or weather features. These coordinates are sent to our server and forwarded to the mapping and weather providers listed in Section 3 to fulfil your request. We do not store your location.
Photos and camera. Photos you select from your library or capture with the camera are attached to your cards and stored on the developer's server.
Calendar. With your permission, the App adds or reads events in your device calendar when you choose to add a card to your calendar. Calendar data stays on your device and is not sent to our server.
Push notification token. If you allow notifications, a Firebase Cloud Messaging registration token is stored on our server so we can send event reminders.
Usage and device data. Google Firebase Analytics automatically collects app usage events and technical information such as device model, operating system, and app version.
Advertising identifiers. Google AdMob may collect your Android Advertising ID, or on iOS the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) if you allow tracking, together with device information, in order to serve ads.
The App requests the following device permissions: internet, location, camera, photos/storage, calendar read and write, notifications, exact alarms (for scheduled reminders), and foreground service.
2. How We Use Information
- To create, store, display, and share invitation cards
- To automatically extract details such as date and place from invitation text you enter or paste (see the AI processing described in Section 3)
- To show routes, distance, and weather for the event location from your current location
- To send event reminders and daily briefing notifications
- To analyse usage statistics and improve the App
- To display advertising, which keeps the App free
3. Sharing and Third-Party Processing
We do not sell your information. Information is shared only as needed to provide the features you use:
- Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging): push notification token, for delivering notifications.
- Google (Firebase Analytics): usage events, device information, and advertising identifier, for usage analysis.
- Google (AdMob): advertising identifier and device information, for serving ads.
- Google (Gemini API): invitation text you enter or paste, for extracting date, place, and other details.
- SK Telecom (TMAP API): origin and destination coordinates, for route search and map display.
- Naver and Kakao: the place name or place URL you enter, for place search and place details.
- Korea Meteorological Administration (public data portal): event location coordinates, for weather information.

About shared cards. When you share a card, it becomes a web page with a unique link. Anyone who has the link can view the card's title, date, place, images, and comments. Please do not put sensitive information in a card you intend to share.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
- Cards and attached images are kept on the server until you delete them or ask us to delete them.
- Deleting a card also deletes its images and comments.
- Push notification tokens are removed when you turn off notifications or when the token is no longer refreshed after the App is uninstalled.
- Location coordinates are used only to answer your route or weather request and are not retained.
- Some data, such as private memos, is stored only on your device and never sent to our server.
5. Your Choices and Rights
- You can edit or delete your cards, photos, and comments directly in the App.
- You can withdraw location, photo, camera, calendar, or notification permissions at any time in your device settings. Only the related feature stops working; the rest of the App continues to function.
- You can reset or delete your advertising identifier in your device settings ("Delete advertising ID" on Android, "Allow Apps to Request to Track" on iOS).
- To request access to or deletion of information we hold, contact us at the email address below. We act on such requests without undue delay.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 14 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
7. Security
Communication with our server is encrypted using HTTPS, and collected information is kept on an access-restricted server.
8. Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, we will post the updated policy and its effective date on this page.
