Drawando (“the App”) is an Android utility app that allows users to create and run custom touch gestures from a floating control. This Privacy Policy explains how the App accesses, uses, stores, and handles user and device data.
1. Information the App accesses
To provide its core functionality, Drawando may access the following device capabilities:
Accessibility Service: used to execute touch gestures that the user has configured and manually triggered.
Display over other apps: used to show a floating control so the user can trigger gestures while using other apps.
Local app storage: used to save gesture configurations, app settings, and related preferences on the device.
Drawando is designed so that its main functionality is initiated by the user. The App does not use these capabilities to make autonomous decisions on the user’s behalf.
2. Personal data collection
In this version, Drawando does not create user accounts and does not require a username or password.
Drawando does not collect personal data from users for transmission to the developer’s servers.
Drawando stores gesture settings and related configuration data locally on the device so the App can function properly.
3. Data sharing
Drawando does not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties.
Drawando does not transmit user data off the device in this version, except where required by the Android operating system to enable system-level permissions selected by the user.
4. How data is used
The limited data stored by the App is used only to:
save user-created gestures,
save app preferences and settings,
enable the floating control,
run gestures when the user manually activates them.
5. Data retention and deletion
Gesture data and app settings remain on the device until the user deletes them, resets the app, clears app storage, or uninstalls the App.
Because this version does not maintain user accounts or cloud storage, the developer does not retain user data on external servers.
6. Security
Drawando stores its configuration data locally on the device using Android’s app storage mechanisms. The App is designed to minimize data handling and to avoid unnecessary collection or transmission of user information.
7. Permissions
Drawando may request system permissions or special access required for its core functionality, including Accessibility Service and display-over-other-apps access. These permissions are requested so the user can use the App’s gesture features. Users can disable these permissions at any time in Android Settings.
8. Children’s privacy
Drawando is not directed to children under 13. The App is intended as a general utility tool and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
