The key to applying to this scholarship is to get everything in on time! I am a bad procrastinator and waited until the last minute. Talking with your advisor is very helpful and they can help you get your items turned in on time, but also offer a slight extension to ensure all your information is correct. Although I received the scholarship, I was stressed as I had waited until the week of the deadline. It is tough because you may still be getting your school, visa, and home university approval, but that is why it's important to start on the application as early as possible!

If you are rewarded the scholarship, there is a requirement that you do a project during or after your study abroad. Just so you know – the project is due within 6 months from your return date, including a summary of the project and how you think it impacted your audience.
