Dr. Ashlei Evans is a native Houstonian with a global vision for transformative leadership and educational excellence. An accomplished educator, author, coach, and consultant, Dr. Evans has served in diverse educational settings, including public, private, and charter schools in Texas, as well as internationally in the United Arab Emirates. Her academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Houston, a Doctorate of Education in Literacy from Sam Houston State University, and a Master’s degree in Biblical and Theological Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary.
With a strong background in corporate training, strategic planning, literacy systems development, and leadership coaching, Dr. Evans is recognized for her ability to design impactful learning experiences and drive sustainable organizational growth. She specializes in literacy advancement, professional learning, instructional coaching, and leadership development, equipping educators and leaders with practical strategies that strengthen teaching, learning, and organizational effectiveness.
Dr. Evans is the founder of The Ash Exchange International LLC, which serves as the umbrella organization for BRIDGE Nations and Literacy Beyond Barriers. Through BRIDGE Nations, she leads global initiatives focused on leadership development, biblical education, and strategic partnerships that strengthen communities and expand access to transformational learning. Through Literacy Beyond Barriers, she provides educational consulting and professional learning services centered on literacy across disciplines, multilingual learner support, systems and leadership development, curriculum design, and instructional improvement.
