Dissertation Title: Effect of Base Transceiver Station and Mobile Phone’s Radiation on Heart Rate Variability
Supervisor: Dr. Barjinder Singh Saini
Description: It deals with the study of the cardiovascular effect of Electromagnetic Field Exposure (EFE) on Heart Rate Variability (HRV) of human subjects. Aforementioned is analyzed through Detrended Fluctuation Analysis of 19 different healthy male volunteers of age group 23±4.3 (mean ± standard deviation) years in three different test conditions of EFE. These test conditions are based on the relative distance between EFE source (Mobile phone/Base Transceiver system) and the volunteer. The overall conclusion was that there is no instantaneous impact was observed on the majority of HRV parameters due to EFE.
