Dr. Amit Choudhary obtained a Ph.D. degree in physics from University ofDelhi, Delhi, India in 2010. He was then a post- doctoral research associate at University of Missouri, St. Louis, USA in 2011. He is currently working as an assistant professor in Deshbandhu College (University of Delhi), New Delhi, India. His research interests are

• Nanoparticle/liquid crystal composites for display and non- display applications

• Substrate interfacial molecular dynamics of liquid crystals

• Photonic applications of liquid crystals
