My experience as both a licensed psychologist in New York State, as an adult transracial adoptee from Hong Kong, and as a Professor and researcher, enables me to offer effective outpatient, individualized, psychological care. I specialize in working with adoptees, adoptive families, and birth families. I work with issues including adoption concerns, career and school issues, mental health challenges, and adjustment issues and work with individuals, families, and couples.
I am a Licensed Psychologist in New York City with a small practice in Manhattan (Chelsea). My office is located at 1115 Broadway @25th Street, 10th Floor, New York, NY. My license is for New York State and I serve as a Board Member for the State Board of Psychology for New York State. Since 2001, I have had a private practice working with children, adolescents, adults, and families.
I specialize in work with those impacted by adoption but I also work with issues related to racial, cultural, and identity concerns.
My practice is part-time, so I may have limited openings for new patients. I do keep a wait list for openings and am always happy to have a brief consultation phone call to discuss possibilities.
