● Design & Immersive Media
● Heritage & Traditional Knowledge
● Systems Thinking
● SDG Localisation
My work spans three interconnected areas: design and immersive media, including XR, 3D capture and digital twins, as tools for understanding; heritage and traditional knowledge, as foundations for sustainable design; and systems thinking, to uncover interdependencies, feedback loops and leverage points for systemic change. I also explore SDG localisation, translating global goals into locally grounded, place-based strategies for sustainable development.
I trained as an architect, practised in heritage conservation, and completed my PhD in Design at IIT Hyderabad. I now teach at MNIT Jaipur, where I am building a research group on immersive systems and knowledge-led design. Prospective PhD students and project staff: see Join My Group.
