Director
Margaux Deverin is an Ithaca-based theatre director and teaching artist. She is a 2019 graduate of New York University with a Masters in Educational Theatre for Colleges and Communities. Growing up, Margaux discovered her passion for theatre at summer intensives throughout her hometown of Pittsburgh, and her mentors soon endowed her with opportunities to direct productions. She went on to study English Education with the intention to teach literature with performative flair and direct theatre rooted in culturally/socially-conscious practice paired with a clear and authentic vision. Margaux enjoys collaborating with other artists and technicians to tell stories that explore what it means to be human, threads of connectivity present in communities, and the unique histories of people.
Music Director
Ginny Maddock is a versatile and sensitive artist and collaborator. With a B.M. in Jazz Studies and Vocal Performance from Ithaca College, she is well-versed in both jazz and classical vocal literature, as well as many world music styles and musical theater repertoire. She has an experiential background in movement-based bodywork and incorporates this smoothly into her work as a performer and an educator. Ginny has significant experience as a performer, vocal coach, and collaborative pianist. She is a member of the Voice Faculty at Flight Voice Studio, where she teaches private lessons and a group voice class. She has worked extensively as a vocal educator in large group settings and one-on-one. Her goal as an educator is to help her students utilize and respect their entire body as their instrument and use this knowledge to build strong technique that can be used in any style.
Choreographer
Harmony Malone is a young, vivacious and dynamic Quintet member and Music For Unity and Social Change program facilitator. Ms. Harmony works for the City of Ithaca as a Program Leader at the Greater Ithaca Activities Center (GIAC). She works throughout Ithaca's Tompkins County as a choreographer, Hip-Hop Dance Instructor and has her own youth performing dance group known as UNITED. She is a Co-Director for the Community Unity Music Education Program, better known as CUMEP.
